Financial Aid

Music scholarships are available for incoming music student undergraduates and graduates on a competitive basis (you are automatically considered for a music scholarship at your audition). There are a number of 4-year scholarships available for undergrads, ranging from the amount of applied music fees to full in-state tuition. The scholarships are renewed each year if academic and performance criteria are met.

For graduate horn students, there is one TA position as well as fellowships available on a competitive basis. See the application form for graduates. See Graduate Financial Aid

The UI Horn Studio also is able to offer small grants to current students for the purposes of attending horn workshops, competitions, or auditions, thanks to the generosity of our Horn Studio "angels".
